Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer- (No-Code Apps)
Location: Fully Remote Role
Duration: 12+ Months Contract with Possible Extension
Pay Rate: $70-$75/HR on W2
Job Details:
• The CIC Platform Observability team owns the observability tooling that monitors the CIC Platform and the homegrown tools used for incident management and EngOps, which help increase engineers' day-to-day productivity.
For this specific role, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help build additional features for our homegrown tools, which use a no-code app platform. The platform we use for the homegrown tools is Tines. This role will also expand to work with our data warehousing team to help build out analytics for our incident tooling, which is visualized in Tableau.
• We are looking for an engineer who is passionate about our customers and who enjoys talking with outside teams to ensure we deliver the best possible solutions. We want an engineer who loves to learn new things, automate, and truly make our customers' day-to-day work easier.
Required Skills:
• Be an expert in running services in production environments
• Contribute to the process of designing services for high growth and high availability.
• Experience with no-code apps such as Tines or Zapier. Bonus: if you have the Tines certification.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
• Experience with Data Warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Senior Linux Administrator

Purpose of Role:
The Linux System Administrator is responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission-critical enterprise systems. As a technical expert in system administration, the role involves recommending the design and configuration of operating systems and system applications, investigating and analyzing the feasibility of system requirements, and developing system specifications. The role also includes identifying methods and solutions and providing project leadership to ensure a high level of service to departmental customers.
Must Have
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated experience in a Linux Systems Administrator role or similar capacity.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system performance and connectivity issues effectively. Command-line and figure out what is running on a box
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems (Primarily Red Hat), covering installation, configuration, and administration.
• Expertise in shell scripting (primarily Bash, Pearl would be helpful) for task automation and system management.
